Summary:

The ERP administrator is responsible for the maintenance and continual improvement of the GRMS ERP system. Under general supervision, administrator is responsible for coordinating IS projects with management, users and vendors. The ERP administrator serves as a site liaison, with overall responsibility for production support, has overall responsibility for all information systems-related activities for specific client departments. Client support includes continual analysis of departmental systems with focus on adding value to all processes.

This role will act as a bridge between IT and the business units and will be leading the efforts of business process improvements through a proper use of technology focusing on the areas of Information Systems

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Manages the ERP applications for specified client departments and acts as the key technical liaison between computer systems users, vendors and Information Services.
  • Ensures end users are getting proper support and training on the system.
  • Acts as primary contact for all application systems problems. Analyzes and documents problem, recommends solution, initiates corrective actions. Follows up on problem resolution and informs clients of status utilizing the service/help desk functionality.
  • Serves as the information resource for client users, including determination of the most appropriate data source, providing or arranging application-based report writing, or educating users to retrieve the information themselves.
  • May serve as lead for In-house development or implementation of vendor-based automated systems. Formulates system scope and design objectives through research and fact-finding to configure vendor -maintained systems or develop and modify in-house systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which vendor systems are configured and/or programs written.
  • Participates in system meetings to continually improve the ERP system.
  • Creates Adhoc reports into Excel for special requirements from management
  • Maintains inventory bar code equipment and handheld wireless devices.
  • Maintains the Sun computer and auto email processes and nightly processes.

Skills required:

  • Expertise with Pick/Unidata/Universe/Prime/Info database environment.
  • Expertize in procedural language and understanding Order to Cash and Procure to Pay functionality.
  • Experience with any ERP software, SQL and C# would be helpful.
  • Ability to write and maintain structured Basic or JavaScript/XML programs in a business environment.
  • Working knowledge of the Wintegrate terminal emulator program.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Visio and Microsoft Office with very strong Excel and Power-Point skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) at all levels in an organization

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Five years in software analysis/programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in Information Systems within a manufacturing environment.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
