Summary:
Well respected accounting firm is seeking a tax expert to lead tax accounting team, and complete complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax engagements. Candidate will report directly to the Administrative Tax Partner and be responsible for the training, supervision and development of professional staff.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, an active New York State CPA license, and Bachelors degree in accounting is required. Successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in accounting field and possess successful leadership and management experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
Plan, supervise, and complete complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax engagements in addition to researching tax issues and corresponding with the IRS.
Supervise, review, train, evaluate, and develop the professional staff.
Perform departmental administrative functions which could include scheduling, billing, and departmental communication
Requirements:
Active State of New York CPA license is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience is required.
Experience with CCH, ProSystem FX Suite and Quick Books accounting software is preferred.
Other:
Based on experience will be hired as a Tax Manager or Senior Manager, with Senior Manager being the more experienced position.
Compensation commensurate with experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
