This position will primarily be responsible for providing support to outpatient adult hematology/oncology patients. This may include monitoring of treatment regimens/protocols, evaluating response to therapy, identifying drug related problems and providing patient education. Interprets medication orders and prescriptions to ensure that they are complete, safe, rational, and compatible with institutional policy. Prepares compounds and dispenses medications for inpatient and ambulatory care use. This includes the preparation of injectable sterile products. Dispenses Pharmacy related items; Ability to prepare or supervise dispensing of chemotherapy. Performs duties in all areas of Pharmacy to include inpatient , ambulatory care and satellites. Provides information to health care practitioners to promote the rational use of medications. Provides drug monitoring service. Maintains Pharmacy records by law and institutional policy. Interprets policy. Interprets policy and procedures for hospital staff. Participates in teaching programs for hospital staff. Participates in Pharmacy Departments Quality Assurance Programs. B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D., NYS license and registration required; completion of PGY1 Pharmacy residency or equivalent experience required. Previous hospital experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
