Mechanical Project Engineer
We have an excellent direct hire opportunity available for a Mechanical Project Engineer in the Southern Tier area of NY.
As the Mechanical Project Engineer, you key duties will include the following:
Design mechanical and electromechanical devices or systems for new and existing products
Optimize existing products
Test and evaluate components to ensure functionality and conformance to specifications
Interface with vendors to obtain cost-effective quotes for tooled parts or standard hardware which meet design and quality specifications
Document and Release product designs in accordance with ISO procedures
Provide engineering product line support to new or existing product initiatives
Requirements include:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7
years of related engineering experience
Pro Intralink and Pro Engineer
Industrial design of products for commercial markets
Experience designing injection molded plastics and metal formed stampings
Familiarity with ISO drafting standards GD&TEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
