Project Administrator: Green Buildings
Sustainable Comfort, Incis seeking a motivated and organized Project Administrator to join our team of green building enthusiastsAs a Project Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to create energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and comfortable living spacesThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sustainability efforts while working in a dynamic and collaborative environmentThis position is part of our Existing Buildings TeamThe mission of this team is to find creative and efficient ways to revitalize homes that have already been builtApplying the right upgrades to a renovated home requires paying special attention to how the building affects the residents, an understanding of the design and budget constraints of each client team, and the expertise to combine incentive opportunities with high performance systems.
Key
Responsibilities:
Gathering and submitting project and program documentsManaging program administration tasks.
Adhering to project timelines for task execution.
Completing checklists, capturing job site photos, and maintaining documentation.
Conducting on-site tasks when necessary.
Coordinating with contractors, scheduling appointments, and facilitating communication.
Staying informed about compliance regulations.
Compiling reports for project managers.
Provide daily support to the project team as requiredBachelors or Associates Degree in construction management, sustainability, or related fieldOne year of experience in construction or tradesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProcess flow and system creationSome building science knowledgeInterest in sustainabilityAbility to work independently and manage multiple timelines simultaneously Preferred SkillsUnderstands a building as a system.
Knows the sources of air, heat, water, infiltration, etcand is able to document their condition, impact and other qualities.
Ability to interact with on-site staff effectively and uses the right language to communicate needed fixes and design issues.
Takes clear and actionable notes during visits.
