The Merraine Group's services have been retained by a flourishing multi-site hospital located in the Finger Lakes region of NY StateThey are searching for a strong and engaging leader for their OR and outpatient surgical services departmentsPosition Focus Senior Director of Surgical ServicesAdministrative responsibility over Surgical Services throughout the healthcare system including the main hospital, the critical access and long term care facility, the ambulatory surgery center and the endoscopy surgical center.
Ability to strategically lead the surgical service line and continue its growth.
Collaborates with physicians, directors, managers, supervisors, and staff to build engagement and cohesivenessOversees six direct reports including the Director of Perioperative Services, Director of Endoscopy,Director of OR Operations, Main OR Manager, Pre-op and PACU Manager, and the SystemManager of Sterile Processing (with over 100 FTEs).
Responsible for fifteen ORs and eight Endoscopy Procedure Rooms.
Reports to the ACOO (who has a background in surgical services), with a dotted line to the CNOOrganization and Community This is a facility famed for its culture of respect and providing a welcoming environment for patients and employees.

Requirements Senior Director of PerioperativeBachelor's required, Master's degree preferred.
RN CertificationA minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience within an acute care settingRelocation assistance is provided Recommended Skills Leadership Long Term Care Endoscopy Critical Care Post Anesthesia Care Unit Surgical Procedures Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
