Addiction Treatment Services Business Coordinator

The Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) Business Coordinator is responsible for accounts receivable management of all ATS patient account receivable including lead liaison to any third party secondary business office organizations.
In addition, the position is responsible for full Revenue Cycle auditing of ATS services including charge capture, documentation, billing, reimbursement, analysis of denials and overall workflow of all new and existing ATS services.
Job Requirements:
minimum education/certification/ licensure:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field.
Preferred:
Master's degree minimum
Experience:
Required:
3-5 years health care Patient Access, Finance, Revenue Cycle or Healthcare Business experience.
Must have understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, payor contracts and applicable rules and regulations affecting reimbursement for healthcare services in.
In depth knowledge of general business concepts including financial management and accounting principles and practices.
Preferred:
Prior work experience in ATS/OASAS certified services.
Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to be flexible with changing needs and deadlines.
special skills/equipment:
Computerized AR/ ADT/ Patient Accounting system experience.
Microsoft Office products knowledge.
Recommended Skills Accounting Software Analytical Business Concepts Coordinating Finance Financial Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
