NP/PA Crouse Testing Center

The NP/PA will join our Pre-Admission Testing location specializing in pre-anesthesia patient care.
Will assist the attending anesthesiologists and surgeons by providing pre-operative patient care for patients in all adult age groups requiring anesthetic interventions.
As part of the anesthesia evaluation process the NP/PA will consult with other health care professionals to obtain information or services relevant to the pre-anesthesia process.
This includes, but is not limited to:
performing and completing full history and physicals; assigning American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASAs) physical status classification for individual patients; educate patients on different anesthesia modalities and the peri operative process; order and interpret appropriate preoperative laboratory tests, radiographic studies and/or specialist clearances as determined by the patients past medical history and current evaluation; prescribe and evaluate patient medications and document using electronic medical record systems.
Job Requirements:
Nurse Practitioner candidates must be currently licensed in Family Practice medicine and have a current license as a registered nurse in New York State or able to obtain licensure.
Physician Assistant candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and have a current license or be eligible for licensure in New York State.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Preferred:
A minimum of 2 years practicing as a NP/PA in surgery, cardiology or internal medicine.
Experience in anesthesia pre-operative clinic, pre-admission testing or surgical equivalent.
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Cardiology Certified Nurse Practitioner Health Care Internal Medicine Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
