Job PurposeNational Grid is hiring a Data Management Analyst on the AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) team to support the execution of UAT and Regression Testing for each release.
In this role, you will be responsible for working with various stakeholders to identify the necessary data required for testing and to ensure all data is prepared/ready ahead of and during execution.
The Data Management Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of business testing, including working with the business to confirm resource availability, providing support during execution, logging defects, managing status reports, and more for each testing cycle.
Key Accountabilities Review test plans and test scripts to identify data needs for each testing cycle Coordinate with stakeholders to create and prepare data for testing prior to and during each testing cycle.
Monitor execution progress and proactively identify additional data needs based on failed tests, environment issues, new test cases, etc.
Provide input into the execution schedule to ensure that data preparation time is accounted for in planning.
Support execution of business testing (UAT) and regression testing as needed by attending daily execution calls, daily defect calls, drafting test scripts, and providing support to business users as they execute testing.
Work with Business Testing team to develop various reports such as test execution status reports, defect reports, closure reports, and more.
Manage and track work using Jira and Jira Align Identify risks and gaps in testing and support resolution of those items Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required Excellent inter-personal skills including strong written and verbal communication ability.

years of practical experience with UAT and regression testing Must have strong data analysis and data management experience Must be highly organized and able to quickly identify and work with dependencies to ensure testing proceeds as scheduled Experience with Agile methodology is high valued Experience with AMI or in the utility industry desired Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across organizations Experience and understanding of concepts related to larger system implementation efforts, including business process design and business testing.
