Job PurposeAccountable for the robust analysis of transformational initiatives within Customer Digital portfolio to meet strategic objectives and targets.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for analyzing, modelling, and reporting on initiatives and key business issues to their targeted performance and operational goals.
In this role you apply a deep understanding of the product metrics (KPIs and OKRs) and profitability drivers, translating them into operational actions, and proactively advising on how to influence critical operational levers in order to positively impact project benefits and prioritize the Digital roadmap.
You will play a critical role in managing the strategic roadmap, coordinating with the Product Leads across all the digital products, facilitating portfolio level planning, and performance reporting of our digital products.
The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with an understanding of digital technologies, customer experience, portfolio and product management, and a strong passion for driving success in the digital landscape.
Key Accountabilities Support identification of key performance indicators (KPI) , objectives and key results (OKR) setting performance targets, tracking performance, and reporting to executives.
Develop & coordinate performance scorecards and assist in the delivery of Customer Digital initiatives in order to maximize opportunity Conduct data collection and analysis, identify specific process improvement opportunities, inform scoping documents and support project deliverables Provide accurate, transparent, and timely analysis to support project leadership in project decision making process Clearly articulate performance implications of business decisions / choices, and provide retrospective analysis, as well as, drive forward looking actions at the project and portfolio level Leverage understanding of the business context to synthesize financial and operational data into meaningful business insights that highlight performance, risk, and opportunities at project level Report and communicate the results against established targets to the leadership team.
Develops and manages business partner relationships with product leadership and product teams in order to facilitate proper performance information flow Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap Collaborate with the Director of Digital Products to define the organization's digital portfolio strategy Coordinate with the Digital Product Leads on the roadmap for their digital products Refine and refresh our customer digital roadmap to identify to support prioritization of each product's features Portfolio Planning & Integration Lead the planning efforts for quarterly PI Planning for the Customer Digital Product teams Coordinate with the agile product teams to prepare for PI Planning Monitor and assess risks and dependencies raised in PI Planning which impact the portfolio Facilitate the integration across products to ensure a cohesive experience across channels and digital products QualificationsKnowledge & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 5
years related experience.
Demonstrated ability to develop metrics Strong MS Excel modelling skills using large amounts of data Proficient in relevant software e.
g.
Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other database type products Basic understanding of project management techniques and methods Knowledge of National Grid's business operations, company policies and practices preferred Knowledge of relevant industry practice preferred Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning and execution skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills Financial background and acumen with an ability to translate process metrics into financial results preferred Basic ability to form queries and extract data from multiple systems (CRS, CSS, mWork, MDSI) a plus Experience in establishing performance frameworks and metrics reporting and leveraging performance software (e.
g.
, PowerBI) Capability Requirements:
Strong analytical skills; must be able to provide timely and accurate interpretation of analyses Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and determine priorities in a team environment Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both orally and in writing and must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner to leadership.
Quickly grasps complex issues and can effectively integrate, compile and analyze complex information and data.
Ability to operate effectively across functional boundaries, building and sustaining solid business relationships and integrating financial discipline into operational decision making.
