Engineering Aide

The Engineering Aide assigned to the Regional Air Resources program in Syracuse will be work with program staff to scan, name and properly file approximately 50 file cabinets full of paper documents. This will involve, with staff assistance, determining the nature of the document and whether or not it is releasable through FOIL. Assistance with triage of incoming semi-annual reports including those returned for electronic versions. Organization of existing electronic documents. Review and respond to incoming FOIL requests. Receive, log and respond to complaints from the public; investigate and resolve air permit fee billing issues and other special projects as assigned by the RAPCE.

Salary Range:
From $15.92 to $15.92 Hourly
Minimum Qualification
High school diploma or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or a USAFI GED certificate (high school level)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
