Process Engineer

Our client is looking for an Process Engineer to oversee the timing, cost or delivery of quality molded components. As the Process Engineer you will also be responsible for changes to equipment, processes and or products based on market and industry research to improve the quality, efficiencies and or cost in molding.

Responsibilities
Contributor to component design and conducts mold flow analysis
Creates tool specifications, work instructions, routings and BOM structures to support integration of new molded components onto production floors
Support the implementation or upgrades of assembly equipment.
Oversee the design, development, and implemention of new methods and processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, improve quality, and improve efficiency
Participate in planning of facilities improvements to meet production needs and reduce operating costs.
Education/Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
6
years of injection mold experience
Travel to domestic and international locations up to 25%
Expert understanding of manufacturing methods and processes to produce injection molded components.
Expert understanding of mold-flow analysis
Ability to read drawings and schematics.
Ability to interpret relevant data and test results.
Advanced computer skills, including the use of SAP and PLM or similar software
Client will pay for relocation


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
