Our client, a leading hospitality and entertainment organization in Central New York, is seeking a Digital Media Director to spearhead their overall digital communications and marketing strategy. Successful candidate will have a minimum 7 years of experience in digital/interactive marketing, a strong knowledge of the hospitality and entertainment industry, along with demonstrated management and leadership capabilities.
Summary:
This senior leadership position will focus on social media and internet based platforms to drive people to digital customer interfaces resulting in customer growth and loyalty.

Responsibilities to include:
establish priorities and make key strategic decisions on the social media direction for the organization
management and growth of social channels/platforms in support of company-wide priorities and objectives
work across Marketing, Communications and Operational teams to develop and lead integrated campaigns that leverage social media and align with the overall company direction and branding
work with the Marketing and Communications team to integrate traditional Marketing and PR efforts, including but not limited to blogger outreach, community building, promotion and development of online campaigns and other initiatives
oversee all digital and social media platforms/channels, and establish KPI's, measurements, and reports regarding the performance and effectiveness of social media and other digital media platforms
share key metrics on the success of social media program to the communications, marketing and operational teams and use that information to improve social media projects and other marketing initiatives
work to identify areas of opportunity within the digital strategy and when required, align outside agencies/vendors to assist in maximizing those opportunities
establish standards around best practices for social media and additional digital media platforms including brand standards and any crisis communications protocols
ensure all on-line and digital communications, programs, and assigned initiatives are consistent with brand platform and communications guidelines, and in compliance with organization rules, policies and strategies regarding digital and interactive marketing
develop and oversee any necessary audit process of social and digital platforms to identify fraudulent or inactive channels

Qualifications:
BA, BS, BFA in Digital/Interactive Marketing or equivalent in related field
Knowledge of travel, tourism or leisure entertainment
Active involvement in online communities; strong understanding of digital insights and metrics
Understanding of user-centered web design principles and web development technologies
Demonstrated experience with Content Management Systems and HTML
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Flash, AJAX, and Javascript required

Additional:
Excellent benefits including individual bi-weekly cost sharing paid in full by employer
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
